So I thought of my new years resolutions yesterday...I also looked back to last years...I actually accomplished a lot of last years resolutions so I'm really hoping to check off the ones for this year. Funny how gardening was last years resolution but I started it today. I didn't mean to really. I woke up, did my bible devotion and had a daily cup of joe.
My hubby had already started doing lawn work and as I walked back I was greeted with this patch of a mess. The owner before us had a beautiful garden there once and I've just let it be over taken with weeds and grass. So with out a moments delay I dug in
(literally)
Even got the kids in on the fun...
Meet some new friends...
and after all our hard work I got myself a clean bed to start my new garden...
