This whole day I carried my camera with me everywhere I went. I always think that the photograph I want to take it going to be this like incredible thing that is going to bolt in my face screaming "Take my picture, take my picture" but I didn't get that big kaboom. Instead just as I was giving up on having a unique photograph today, I looked at my very own dining room table and spotted the very photograph waiting to be taken. My paper flowers...
I made these flowers from a book my old boss made me read once. It was actually a good book but I'm trying to reuse, recycle and re-purpose, so instead of getting .50 for it at Half Price books, I decided to make something with it. With the help of my Cricut, I made these beautiful flowers. And I'll have you know that I took them to my sisters Christmas party for a gift exchange game she plays and they were not appreciated. So I won them back and brought them home. I guess not all people appreciate the work of someone's hands. But in the end, I've received a lot of compliments for my paper flowers sitting right on my table. Where they should be.
